OSS schemes
EU OSS is broader than digital services alone. The official system covers the non-Union scheme, the Union scheme, and the import scheme for different mixes of B2C services, intra-EU distance sales of goods, and imported low-value goods.
Methodology
The project is optimized for EU B2C digital services. It favors an explicit audit trail over silent inference, which means ambiguous rows stay visible and uncalculated until their evidence is complete.

The default workflow needs two matching identifiers before a row is treated as filing-ready. Billing address, card country, IP country, shipping country, and bank country are modeled as first-class evidence types.
The workspace ships with 27 standard EU VAT rates from the official Your Europe table, last checked on 2025-10-30. Member States can also apply reduced, super-reduced, zero, and parking rates depending on the supply type, so SaldoKit only auto-calculates rows that fit its mapped standard-rate path.
SaldoKit reads your Stripe charges — billing country, card country, shipping country, and metadata like ip_country. Non-EUR charges are surfaced but held for manual review until currency conversion is in place.
